By Car

Coming from Nort: Motorway A3 Napoli-Salerno, exit Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the signs to the Sorrento peninsula. After going through three tunnels, exit Vico Equense and after a few turns the hotel is on the right.

By Train

The Sorrento Peninsula is connected to the city of Naples (Piazza Garibaldi station - Napoli Centrale) via the railway Circumvesuviana. The line is Naples - Sorrento. The nearest railway stations are: Seiano - Vico Equense from which you can reach the Hotel Mary.

Unlike Pompeii, Herculaneum was not buried by lava and lapilli (burning fragments of pumice stone), but was submerged by thick mud which then solidified into soft tufa rock, thus preserving the many frescoes and artefacts you can still admire today. The excavation work since has brought to light sumptuous villas, baths and theatres.
